Start at home
It’s as easy as making breakfast for your loved ones. Chapter 21, shows Jesus making breakfast on the beach for the disciples, showing them love and caring for them. I personally forget at times that by simply caring for my husband and my children I am serving God. By doing laundry, washing dishes, stewarding finances, and keeping our schedules-I am serving God. When I remind myself of this, I often find a greater joy in the mundane task of life. I’m trying to raise good girls who grow to be great women of God. I need to set the example of what a woman who serves God looks like, no pressure right. When I complete acts of service within our own home, they are learning how to serve also. The verse below is powerful, and brought me revelation to how important serving my own household is. We must start serving the people God has already blessed us with, before we take on the outside world. Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
